AusGarage Motor Show 2014

My first event of attendance in the New Year of 2014 was held by our good friends over at AusGarage. They don’t do anything by halves those crazy Brisbane residents nor did they disappoint with the first ever  AusGarage Motor Show held at RNA show grounds in sunny (and humid […]My first event of attendance in the New Year of 2014 was held by our good friends over at AusGarage. Back in February I had been drifting for just shy of a year with minimal damage to the car. Unfortunately at Summer Matsuri after a hefty shunt the car had to be scrapped and a re shell process has been very very slowly occurring ever since. Leading up to that […]

“Built not bought” is a synonymous phrase regularly thrown around in the car enthusiast’s circle.  While most people enjoy staring at exotic cars, something created in a shed out the back tends to produce more respect and cult following more than anything else. That Grill: Despite being 31 years old, […]

While in Adelaide, I also met up with another friend who just recently opened  his own business. All Torque Customs is a restoration and paint shop located out near the Adelaide International Airport. While there, current projects were an Impala, Ford Falcon Coupe and a Mazda RX2. Ben said that […]

The beginnings of the Pantera is quite an interesting tale which even includes a Formula One heritage. Alejandro de Tomaso was a racing driver and industrialist from Argentina who participated in two Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, however he was much more significant in the motoring world as a maker of […]

Matsuri Feb 2013

Matsuri Feb 2013 from Mr-Ace-K Productions on Vimeo.

Didn’t post this up earlier, apologies. This was from earlier in the year at the Vic Drift Matsuri 2013. 2 days of drifting, and an expression session comp and a burnout comp as well! Good times. The Tuffcore SIL80 didn’t have such a great time though 🙁  Enjoy

Last weekend we flew up to Brisbane to attend a fantastic event held by our good friends AusGarage in association with Grunt Files. There has been a lot of media and political attention in recent times aimed predominately at modified car owners and also changes to the road rules.   […]

We are still here and working away. Had a holiday in the USA and in the process of re-building the Team Tuffcore SIL80 (soon to be S13)… that’s another story. The exciting news, I did some guest blogging over at our friends AusGarage, with some Formula Drift USA coverage whilst […]

After getting a call late Wednesday night saying I had the last spot, it was a mad rush to find accommodation, trailer and tow car for one of the biggest drift events in Victoria. Held at Winton Raceway Victoria, the Spring Matsuri (Drift Festival) was upon us! After blowing off […]

PART II: SIL80 FOOTSTEPS

MARCH: After a huge Summer Matsuri, in which the SIL80 survived, March practice came around very quickly. The overheating problems were sorted throughout the day (re-wiring the fan seemed to do the trick) and another day out on the track came to an end far too quickly. On the bright […]
